Explanation of symbols:
The numbers in the circles mean what fingers you use to press on the strings.
0=open string
1=index finger
2=middle finger
3=ring finger
4=little finger
The numbers in the black rhombus mean that this note is the root of the chord, it's the chords name.
When you see numbers just below the strings, that means an alternate way to put your fingers on the fretboard. Use the one that is best for you.
Important: Only the strings that have the above marks must be heard when playing the chord. The rest of the strings are not played or dampered by the left hand.
Except when you see the word "barre" under the strings (barre means that one finger simultaneously presses down two or more strings) Then you don't have to worry about that
because all the strings have to be pressed down anyway. The curves above the numbers mean you press 2 or more strings with one finger.
