Minor Chords 1 Minor Chords 2 Minor Chords 3 Minor Chords 4 Minor Chords 5 Minor Chords 6
On this page we give you the first 3 types of basic minor guitar chords you can learn. They can be played anywhere on the fretboard. Depending on the position, the chord takes it's name.
Explanation of symbols:
The numbers in the circles show you what fingers you use to press on the strings.
0=open string
1=index finger
2=middle finger
3=ring finger
4=little finger
The numbers in the black rhombus show you that this note is the root of the chord, it's the chords name.
Important: Only the strings that have the above marks must be heard when playing the chord. The rest of the strings are not played or dampered by the left hand.
Except when you see the word "barre" under the strings (barre means that one finger simultaneously presses down two or more strings) Then you don't have to worry about that
because all the strings have to be pressed down anyway.
The curves above the numbers mean you press 2 or more strings with one finger.
The table shows on the left column the name of the chord, and on the left column the position on the fretboard to play it.
