Find Guitar Music Online

Did you know that you can find almost any type of music that you might want online? That's right. Thousands of guitarists have discovered the power of online guitar music. The advantage to this service is that you can avoid the high cost of music books, many of which can cost twenty dollars and up, when you may only want one or two songs from it. If you purchase music online, you also have many more options than you do when purchasing music from a music store. There are generally three options that you have when purchasing music online:

Guitar Music (1): You can purchase an entire book. Generally, books are put together containing all of a particular artist's songs from an album, or a greatest hits collection. If you're a guitarist, you want to be sure to purchase the book that contains the guitar parts as played by the artists. Generally, look for a designation that says "guitar recorded version" or "authorized edition". This means that an editor has gone to great pains to ensure that the parts are written down exactly as played by the artist. Generally, these pieces will come with a joined staff, containing both traditional notation and tablature.

Guitar Music (2): You can purchase the sheet music to a particular song. If you only want one or two songs from a particular artist, this can save you a whole lot of money, compared to purchasing the whole book. Typically, you'll pay around three to four dollars for the sheet music. This is obviously not cost effective if you want more than five or six songs, but can be a real money-saver otherwise.

Guitar Music (3): You can download the music directly in PDF format from the site. This is usually cheaper than purchasing the sheet music and, if you have a high-quality printer, can look just as good. A good place to find downloadable sheet music is here: Musicnotes Guitar Music! They have guitar music in ever genre, and you can choose to order books, sheet music, or downloadable PDFs.
